  • Authentic traditional Japanese food restaurant with a small cosy dining room. Run by a Japanese chef Dan and his wife. They were previously based in Plymouth for 7 years before relocating to Exeter in 2021
  • Menu includes Ramen, freshly prepared sashimi and sushi, katsu, eel, tempura, saki, and more. Some cornish fish on the Sushi and Sashimi men. Vegetarian/vegan options available (e.g. veggie sushi and ramen-style dishes). There is a porthole into the kitchen so you can see the Chefs at work.
  • Artistic decoration, including some of Dan’s own artwork (murals on walls). Fast service.
  • No desserts, maybe get a bubble tea at one of the many places in town, or at lunchtime you can try Pink Ginger which serves authentic Japanese cheesecake, roll cakes, and more. Often busy, booking in advance recommended. Large portions.
  • Plenty of veg and vegan options. Phone to book a table. Service not included, optionally add service when paying the bill.
