  • Intimate tasting-menu restaurant on Magdalen Road. Owned and run by a group of friends who built their way up, starting out with a taco truck in Cornwall called Taco Boys.
  • Seasonal four-course weekday lunches and six-course weekend lunches and dinners. “Outside tables are available for drinks, snacks, and the odd course or two”.
  • Menu changes frequently to reflect what’s best from their sources. Foraged ingredients, produce from the kitchen garden, homemade ferments and charcuterie.
  • Each course is introduced at the table and optional drinks flights (alcoholic and low / no) designed to match the menu are available, but the style is pretty relaxed and informal. The staff are enthusiastic and knowledgeable.
  • Listed in the Michelin Guide and “Very Good” in the Good Food Guide.
  • Might need to booking in advance as they can be booked out for weeks in advance.
  • Vegetarian and some vegan options available by prior arrangement.
